Did you know Thompson Drug is one of the only compounding pharmacies in this area?  Pharmacy compounding is the art and science of preparing personalized medications for each individual patient.  Compounding provides medication solutions that cannot be met by manufactured products.  We can create a custom medication specifically for you in the exact strength and dose your body needs.  We can make dye free, preservative free, sugar free, and lactose free dosage forms and create unavailable, unformulated, or discontinued medications.

We concentrate on making each compound with the highest quality and accuracy.  Our medication formulas are provided by The Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA^®), a company dedicated to providing quality chemicals and services to compounding pharmacies all across America.  Specialists at PCCA^® frequently advise us on how we can improve our compounded products for our patients.  Our compounds are made in our compounding lab using state of the art compounding equipment.  You can be sure that at Thompson Drug you are receiving a quality compounded product.  

We realize that many pharmacies in the southeastern Kentucky area do not compound.  Therefore, we would be happy to mail your compound to you for a flat $5.00 fee.
